Coach Frank Phung is the Program Director and Varsity Head Coach of the Girls Flag Football program at Edison High School. He focuses on developing student-athletes through strong fundamentals, leadership, and a competitive team culture.

Coach Frank Phung is the Program Director and Varsity Head Coach of the Girls Flag Football program at Edison High School. He focuses on developing student-athletes through strong fundamentals, leadership, and a competitive team culture.
Under his leadership, the Edison Chargers advanced to Division 1 of the CIF Southern Section, competing at the highest level of high school flag football in Southern California. In their first season at that level, Edison earned a historic win over Newport Harbor and reached the CIF Southern Section quarterfinals.
Coach Phung is also the founder of Beach Flag Football, recognized as a preferred girls flag football club by the Los Angeles Rams and an approved club under USA Football.
He additionally serves as a coach and scout with USA Football, helping identify and develop elite athletes while supporting the growth of girls flag football nationwide.
